In 2019, Johnny Buss, son of the late Lakers owner Jerry Buss, fulfilled a long-held family dream by acquiring the historic Ice House. Recognizing its legendary status, the Buss family undertook an extensive renovation, completed after pandemic delays in 2020. Their vision preserved the club's iconic spirit while modernizing it for a new era of comedy and music.
